Just a quickie. Forgot all about this shot from Mount Buffalo in Victoria. Love the morning light.

It's been a long journey (5 years in the making) to produce Little Ripper - Fast, Feathered and Fearless.
“Little Ripper” follows a cast of passionate and somewhat eccentric characters across the globe in search of triumph fame and fortune. Breading and racing pigeons is a life commitment, the award winning character-driven narrative feature length documentary from the Boord brothers.
Now to find a distributor and agent! Enjoy! Youtube link here.

I grabbed my camera and quickly searched for an open space for this shot. The cloud just 'exploded' so quickly. It was all over in 10mins.

At the start of the year I did a photo shoot for the Department of Education.
Here is the link to the final publication. 95% of the photos are mine. A couple of them are not.

Well, the new studio is now up and running. I am pumped about having this new space for photography! Here is a shot from the first shoot with Gabe. Man am I lucky to have such a beautiful wife! And yes, that is her hand, no photoshopping. Pretty cool hey!

Recently returned from a trip up to Far North Queensland. We drove from Ocean Grove, so it was a long time in the car. I managed to fill up about 4x32gb memory cards on the trip. Not bad... Although, it was mostly video. I will share a few pics from the trip. Here are few to start with and I will gradually add more as I go. Enjoy.

Can you guess what it is? This is a time lapse photo of a road train passing through from left to right on a dusty road in the outback. Freezing temperatures even up there! You can see the milky way very clearly in this shot. No photoshopping here. 168 second exposure, f2.8 at ISO400. Fisheye lens. (Thats why its curved)

Boabab tree. We travelled through a very short section of Boabab trees near longreach. That was the last of them we saw. Weird how there was such a small group of them. I have used a fish-eye lens here to accentuate the incredible bulge these trees have.

Little old pub in Wyandra. I just like the light falling on the pub in this shot in a small country town, these pubs nearly always look nicer on the outside....

These are lava tubes in Undara. Incredible structures caused by volcanic eruptions. Not a really amazing photo, but quite an amazing piece of geology!

Gotta love the dusty road trains up there!
More photos to come soon....

A few weeks back I photographed a wedding. Clare and Carlo were the couple, they are such a fantastic couple, great attitudes towards life and a pleasure to photograph. I thought I would share a couple of photos of their day. We were very lucky with the weather, the sun came out and the temperature was perfect.

Pt. Londsdale pier.

I love the dog on the rock in this shot!
